Benjamin Burford

Benjamin Burford is C.E.O. of Conlon & Co, C.E.O. of CONLON: A Real Estate Company and a Director of Conlon & Co | Ireland. In these roles, he is responsible for strategy, new business development and day-to-day global operations.
Before joining Conlon& Co, Mr. Burford spent a successful five years as a consultant with the Chicago office of McKinsey & Company. As a consultant, his work included developing global growth, new business development and marketing strategies for the top clients in a variety of industries from telecommunication companies to consumer goods manufacturers. He also worked in private equity evaluating merger and acquisition targets.
Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Mr. Burford worked for the General Electric Company as a product manager, where he managed an $80 million global product line launching over 60 new products in one year. He also served as a market development manager, responsible for developing new retail clients.
Additionally, he spent seven years in the United States Air Force Special Operations Command as an officer in several special operations units flying MC-130H aircraft in locations across the globe.
Mr. Burford graduated with an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and Spanish from Purdue University as a distinguished graduate. Mr. Burford is fluent in Spanish having studied at the Center for International Studies in Madrid and I.E.S.E. in Barcelona. He is also proficient in French.
