Luis Flocco
Director - Audley Property Management and Preservation
Luis Flocco is the Director of Audley Property Management and Preservation, Conlon &Co’s full-service management company providing highly-tailored property management solutions including leasing and building management as well as services to secure, preserve and rehab distressed properties.
Prior to joining Conlon & Co, Mr. Flocco was a successful developer with almost 20 years’ experience in constructing and converting buildings throughout Chicago. He has developed over 150 properties worth over $50 million through his company, Horizonte Development. His experience is wide ranging and includes the restoration of vintage single family homes and condominiums, new construction of multi-story mixed use condominium projects, as well as the new construction of individual high-end single family homes. Mr. Flocco has been recognized with the prestigious “Good Neighbor Award” from the Chicago Association of Realtors.
During this same time, he also established and ran the well-respected boutique real estate and property management firm, New Chicago Real Estate which he sold in 2008 after operating for 20 years. His property management experience includes managing over 200 existing rental units as well as newly established condominium associations.
Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Flocco served as a Manager of Information Services in the corporate world, rising up through the ranks first at William M. Mercer, Inc. and then at Washington National Insurance.
Like Mr. Conlon, Mr. Flocco is a bootstrap immigrant having come to the United State from a working-class family in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mr. Flocco worked full-time while pursuing a degree in Computer Sciences making him the first college graduate in his family.
Outside of his professional activities, Mr. Flocco has developed a strong record of civic participation being very active in the community. He has been involved with the Latino Cultural Center for over 10 years, including a term as a Board Member and has volunteered at many non-profit organizations throughout the city and has served on the Finance Committee of Giannoulias for Treasurer.
