The principals of Conlon & Co have extensive experience in real estate development and adaptive re-use of existing buildings. During the last decade Mr. Conlon was one of Chicago’s most active condominium developers backing hundreds of projects and specializing in site assemblage, conversion and development of mid-rise condominium buildings throughout the Lakeview and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. During the same time period, Mr. Prosser, the director of investments, focused on the purchase, renovation and rehabilitation of multi-family properties along the East Coast. The firm is currently in the process of performing horizontal development on a mixed-use commercial project in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, the vertical development of a mid-rise apartment building in Chicago’s River West neighborhood, and the complete rehabilitation and adaptive re-use of a former office building into an 80-bed student housing project in the heart of downtown Chicago. Additionally Conlon & Co has a sub-specialty in the complete development of holiday home communities on Lake Michigan through its subsidiary Van & Conlon. |
